One Angel Square, Northampton Town Hall

JJ Interiors were appointed by Accordial Acoustic Solutions to manufacture and install the bespoke acoustic timber rafts at this £53 million combined council offices in Northampton.

The project involved manufacturing bespoke ceiling raft panels constructed from MDF panels, CNC machined to accommodate lighting fixtures and sprinkler heads, wrapped in acoustic fabric and then finally clad in solid oak timber.  Each panel was numbered according to servery data carried out on site and delivered to site and fitted by our installation team.

The project included the supply of over 10,000 metres of solid oak which was processed in our factory and treated with a class O fire treatment.

Works were successfully completed during 12 week manufacturing and installation period during the autumn of 2017.
