Polden Corner, Bath

JJ Interiors were awarded the carpentry and bespoke joinery packages by Vinci Construction, completed in 2018. 

 

Polden is our Bath Universities' newest building, offering self-catered accommodation for 293 postgraduates.  Polden is a high spec, modern self-catered accommodation block on the west side of campus, designed especially for postgraduate students.  The design focuses on how the student living and studying experience complement each other. 

 

There are 37 flats on four floors across two buildings, arranged around a landscaped courtyard.    Located on the quiet, far west side of Bath Uni's Claverton Down campus, a seven-minute walk to the Library and Students' Union.

 

The development supports the University’s aim to establish itself as an international centre of excellence in innovative graduate education. It is part of a wider strategy which will strengthen Bath’s research base and continue to enhance the quality of the student experience it offers.
