Bristol & Bath Science Park
JJ was appointed the carpentry package by Willmott Dixon.
We manufactured and installed the bespoke timber internal and external cladding at this new £300 million Science Park, designed to support Science and Technology businesses through each stage of their development and growth.
Located at Dirac Crescent, Emersons Green, South Gloucestershire, England, north-east of Bristol and north-west of Bath, it was opened on 26 September 2011, 25 years after it was originally proposed. The site covers 59 acres, half of which were developed by 2013. The full site is expected to be complete by 2033.
The main building includes the "Forum", which comprises the reception area, meeting spaces and cafe. Within this beautiful atrium the wooden ceiling high above you and wall panels surrounding the ground floor are a testament to JJ's skilled craftmanship on large scale bespoke projects..
The park's development was a collaboration of universities, the South West of England Regional Development Agency and Quantum Property Partnership.
Completed September 2011. Project Value: £1.5 mil
