Beckley Court Student Accommodation, Plymouth

JJ Interiors were awarded the drylining package from Kier construction in 2016.

The new Beckley Court Student Accommodation provides 500 en-suite high quality student rooms  in the tallest building in Plymouth.  Designed to be fully inclusive and accessible, the form of the tower within the design has a layered splay approach and a stronger connection at ground level. The tower’s corner magnificently protrudes out of the ground with recesses on either side, which enhances its presence and becomes a celebration of its height and grandeur.

The top floor holds the students’ sky lounge and common room which provides views towards the famous Plymouth Hoe. The design also allowed the introduction of green roofs which will enhance the building’s sustainable credentials.
