Meet the Team
Gary Johns - Company Director
Gary's experience spans over 25 years of directing various carpentry, joinery and fit out companies. Gary has worked with all the major contractors in the South West, and has earned a respectable reputation in his profession. Gary's main role within the business today is the estimating and day-to-day running of the company. Ensuring JJ Interiors continues to build on its excellent core work values.
In his spare time Gary is a sports enthusiast, running local youth football and adult teams in Bristol. He is also a keen angler, likely to be found fishing the river Wye on the weekends.
Aaron Whiston- Director
Aaron Whiston trained in Construction Management gaining a BSc (hons) degree. In 2011 he joined JJ Interiors as a director having gained vital experience as Project Manager at ISG Pearce and as Contracts Manager at Bray and Slaughter. Aaron's main role within the business is the management of projects along with the day-to-day running of the business. Working closely with staff and Gary to ensure the company's high standards.
John Keats- Surveyor
John Keats, (BSc Dip, Arb FRICS MCIArb) is JJ interiors project Quantity Surveyor. John has been in the industry for 40 years and has worked for a number of both large contractors and SME's, this experience lends him well to any project JJ undertakes. John is present as the quantity serveyor across all of JJ interiors projects.
Sean Hallard- Contracts Manager
Sean Hallard is JJ Interiors Contracts Manager. Sean has been working in the construction industry for 25 years, managing his own company for much of that time. Sean is responsible in particular for all JJ dry lining projects, he is highly regarded within this sector and takes up the tendering and day-to-day running of dry lining projects at JJ.
Cally Cornish- Office Manager
Cally joined JJ Interiors from the Mitie group, where she gained valuable experience over a 7-year period. Cally keeps the office running smoothly, responsible for the general admin and day-to-day management of JJ Interiors Bristol office.
Lee Paxton – Director of JJ residential
Lee's experience spans 30 years within the industry; gaining experience as a carpenter throughout the 80s and 90s before running a successful carpentry company.
Lee's primary focus has been in the housing market delivering contracts for many of the major housing companies it was with this excellent knowledge and experience that Lee joined JJ residential as a Director in 2011. He is responsible for the day-to-day running of projects, ensuring all work meets the high standards expected of JJ Interiors.
Richard Viner- Site Supervisor
Richard has worked as a site supervisor for JJ since 2000 and is highly regarded by clients and respected by operatives alike for his commitment, organisation, quality workmanship and excellent health and safety standards on all the projects he supervises. Richard has delivered a number of outstanding projects for JJ Interiors, is hardworking, conscientious and has an eye for detail- making him a pivotal member of the team. In his spare time out of work Richard enjoys fishing.
Jamie Caddick – Site Foreman
Jamie is currently a site foreman; Jamie joined JJ from school and has been supported through his apprenticeship where he gained valuable carpentry skills.
Jamie is now focusing on management success and runs a number of our smaller projects as a foreman, whilst improving his qualifications within management.
Jamie is a keen sportsman and spends his spare time playing football, golf or fishing.
Billy Andrews – Site Foreman
Billy is currently a site foreman; Billy joined JJ in 2007 and completed his carpentry apprenticeship with the support of the company. Billy has gained experience working alongside other foreman and has achieved his Site safety supervisor certificate with Willmott Dixon.
Billy enjoys managing a local football team in his spare time and can be often found watching football in the area.
